Laura Hill Intro

My name is Laura Hill. I'm a Junior Architectural Engineering student, focusing on Sustainable Building Systems.

In AE 510, I would like to learn more about the newest technologies in the building industry, and on my own, be able to connect these ideas with sustainably built systems. Specifically, I am very interested in 3D printing, as well as the use of new building materials and new systems designs that are going to improve effects on the environment.

To me, "Intelligent Buildings" are buildings that take advantage of the newest technologies in the industry, and have aspects unlike anything used before.
