Dianna Vogel Introduction

My name is Dianna Vogel. I am a Junior Civil Engineering BS/MS student (structural concentration) with a minor in Engineering Management. I am interested in taking AE-510 in order to gain some database knowledge, further explore BIM, and discover what the umbrella of Intelligent Buildings encompasses. I expect at the end of this course to be able to sufficiently manage a database and explain knowledgeably the definition of an Intelligent Building. With my current understanding, an Intelligent Building is one that responds to its environment in such a way that solves a problem faced in the surrounding area or culture.
