Zabiega's introduction

Hello, my name is Matthew Zabiega. I am a junior in the AE Mechanical BSMS program with a minor in sustainability in building environment. I am over half way done with my graduate course load and I am excited to graduate Drexel. I am excited to be apart of AE 510 because buildings are becoming less of a 'dumb' building and more of a intelligent building that can interact/respond to it's users. Integrated design processes with other building aspects as well as using innovated BIM programs can make a building more intelligent, this is why I want to learn more about this topic.

My definition of an Intelligent building is a building that can be designed, constructed, maintained and ultimately demolished efficiently and effectively as well as being easily modifiable and productive over it's lifespan.
